Dr. Selmi received his MD in 1998 and his PhD in Internal Medicine in 2002, both from the University of Milan. He was appointed Assistant Professor by the same University for Internal Medicine in 2006 and for Rheumatology between 2011 and 2019. As of 2019, he is Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at Humanitas University in Milan. In 2004 he was awarded the Young Researcher prize by the Italian Society of Internal Medicine and in 2005 the Young Investigator Award by the Aesku-Kipp Foundation. Dr. Selmi was a post-doctoral researcher between august 2001 and december 2004 at the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy, and Clinical Immunology of the University of California, Davis School of Medicine. Between July 2005 and decemver 2014, he was appointed Assistant Adjunct Professor of Medicine by the same Division at UC Davis.
Carlo Selmi currently leads the Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology Unit at Humanitas research hospital. At Humanitas he leads a young group of physician scientists with wide research and clinical expertise, including periods working at foreign institutions. The team holds dedicated clinics for rheumatoid arthritis, spondiloarthritis, connective tissue disease with dedicated clinics for systemic sclerosis and systemic lupus erythematosus, and is active in articular ultrasound, videocapillaroscopy, arthrocenthesis and intra-articular injections.
He has coauthored over 300 peer-reviewed publications with a Scopus H index of 55 and a total impact factor exceeding 2000.
Prof. Dr. Arjen F. Nikkels obtained his MD degree in 1990 at the University of Liège, Belgium. He obtained his PhD degree on varicella zoster virus diagnostic methods in 1997. Since 2008, he is a full professor of dermatology and head of department of dermatology and venerology at the CHU (university hospital) of Liège, Belgium. He authored and co-authored more than 235 scientific articles (PUBMED hits), and co-authored many dermatology books.
His h-index in Google scholar is 30 with 3066 citations and 192 peer-reviewed articles, in Scopus: 27. Orcid number: orcid.org/0000-0001-5240-4806. Five PhD theses have been published He is board member of several online dermatology journals, including The Open Journal of Dermatology, Dermatology Online Journal, Revue Médicale de Liège, Medicinal Research Reviews, Dermatology Today and BioMed Research International.
He is a member of the Belgian and French Societies of Dermatology, the European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology and the American Academy of Dermatology. He is a regular invited speaker at these meetings.
His clinical trial team participated in the major psoriasis and atopic dermatitis trials, more than 70 in the last 10 years.

Dr. Archana Singal (MD, FAMS) is the Director Professor and head of the Department of Dermatology & STI, University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. She is also the head of dermatology, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi. She is the founding president of the Nail Society of India (NSI).
She has been a teaching faculty for over 25 years at University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Her chief areas of interest include tropical dermatology (cutaneous tuberculosis, leprosy and mycoses in particular), nail disorders and genodermatoses. She has published approximately 230 scientific journal articles, and has contributed more than 40 chapters related to skin, STI and leprosy in various textbooks. She has also been the chief editor of several books including, ‘Comprehensive Approach to Infections in Dermatology’, ‘Atlas of Infections in Dermatology’, ‘Superficial Dermatophytosis’ and ‘Comprehensive Approach to Nail Disorders’.
Dr. Singal is especially passionate about the Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) that affect the economically underprivileged strata worldwide. In the past, NTDs were largely limited to the global south, and have been neglected by clinicians/dermatologists, researchers, and funding agencies alike. However, with the world becoming more interconnected, NTDs are no longer confined to specific geographic zones. Therefore, she feels strongly about the uniform incorporation of clinical training and research on NTDs in all parts of the world.
I have been working as a professor of dermatology at Ankara University, School of Medicine, Department of Dermatology since 2017. I have over 130 publications in the SCI, SCI-E index. My interests are dermatoscopy, diagnosis, and treatment of melanoma and nonmelanoma skin cancers, and management of cutaneous T-cell lymphomas. I am an executive board member of the Turkish Dermatology Society, Dermoscopy Working Group, and also an executive board member of the International Dermoscopy Society, as well as the social media, and website coordinator of the IDS. I am also the editor of the Dermoscopy Section of the Dermatology Practical and Conceptual. I have been invited to speak on Dermatoscopy in many countries.
Dr. Yaser Ali is a Consultant in adult rheumatology and clinical immunology and allergy at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital, Kuwait city. He graduated from University of Toronto and hold Canadian board certificates in Internal Medicine, Adult Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology & Allergy. He also holds the American Board in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. Dr. Ali is very active researcher and has a number of publications in both rheumatology and allergy fields. He is a member of several professional organisations including The Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and the American College of Physicians (ACP).
Dr. Jassem Bastaki is a practicing Head and Neck and Endocrine Pathologist, in Kuwait.
He completed his training in OMF Pathology and then Head, Neck and Endocrine pathology fellowship in 2012, in Pittsburgh USA.
During his training, he spent time and trained in UPMC, Vesiculobullous Dz Clinic and general dermatology clinic, where he also met Dr. Suzan Obagi.
